The Season Is Cooling, and Q4 Is Nearly Here
The island quietens, the sea stays warm, and the final quarter of the year is a considered time to buy or sell in Southwest Mallorca.
There is a shift you can feel in Mallorca around this time of year. The mornings arrive a little softer, the light turns warmer through the afternoon, and the sea holds onto its summer heat long after the busiest weeks have passed. September has always been one of our favourite months on the island, and this year is no different.
The visitors begin to thin out, the restaurants in Palma and along the coast become easier to enjoy, and there is room to breathe again. If you spent August wishing you could slow down, now is the moment. A swim before work is still perfectly possible, and a long lunch by the water feels earned rather than rushed.
It is also the point in the year when many people start to think ahead. The final quarter is almost here, and for a lot of our clients that means taking stock. Buyers who spent the summer looking often decide that autumn is the time to act, once the holiday season is behind them and the market settles into a steadier rhythm. Owners considering a sale tend to reach the same conclusion, that the quieter months are a good moment to prepare and present a home well.
We see this every year. Some of our most considered sales happen between now and Christmas, when there is less noise and people can focus properly on the decision in front of them. There is no rush and no pressure, simply a good window to look carefully and ask questions.
